Maybe not everyone is familiar with who the Blade Children, the Hunters, the Watchers and the Savers are, so here's a little description of each according to the manga version of Spiral. Note that it's according to the 'manga' and not the 'anime.' The anime and manga has several similarities, but they're still pretty different overall. The anime has a completely different ending, and the manga takes you further into the story. Since the manga goes further and introduces more positions (and I'm personally more familiar with the manga than the anime xD; ), the positions in this club will be mainly based off of the manga.
If you find any mistakes in my description, feel free to correct me. And please remember, the info. here is basically based off of the manga, not the anime! If you do find a mistake, it would help if you could provide me with the manga page you're referring to. My info. comes directly from the japanese manga, so I have no idea whether the translated manga pages floating around out there have any mistranslations. I'm not saying the translating groups aren't doing a good job, they really are. Translation is a hard thing to do. But mistranslation still happens, and it is most unfortunate when it happens when the characters are talking about key stuff.
Anyway, enough with my babbling.
Here's the positions list:
This should be obvious to people who know even the slightest information about Spiral. They all have a missing rib, believe that they are cursed and can't be saved, and kill people.
Now, that was the basic information... here's the more recent version, according to Volume 11 of the manga. The Blade Children are children who were created in scientific laboratories, all 80 of them with the same father, Yaiba Mizushiro. All 80 of them inherited Yaiba's godlike, almost demon-like talents and skills. However, Yaiba's blood that runs through their veins won't fully awaken until the children reach the age of 20, at the least; when that happens, they are believed to become human killing machines, more or less...
Characters from the manga/anime who fall under this category: Eyes Rutherford, Rio Takeuchi, Kousuke Asazuki, Ryouko Takamachi, Sayoko Shiranagatani, Mizue Nohara, Ikuo Tsujii
People who believe that Yaiba Mizushiro and and his Blade Children project are a dangerous threat. They believe that it is in the best interest of mankind to annihilate the Blade Children and put a complete stop to the Blade Children Project.
Characters from the manga who fall under this category: Kanone Hilbert
[Note: Kanone is one of those characters who turns out to be pretty different in the manga and anime. In both the manga and anime, he is one of the Blade Children, but he identifies himself as a Hunter only in the manga. In the anime, he only forms an alliance with the Hunters, so he technically isn't a Hunter in the anime version.]
Note: From here on downwards, the positions that appear apply only to the manga.
As implied in their name, the Watchers just watch. They declare that the Blade Children Project is still under much experimentation, so both Yaiba and his Children should be observed for the time being.
Characters from the manga who fall under this category: Kirie Tsuchiya
In a nutshell, they are pro-Blade Children Project. They support Yaiba and hope to start a second part of the Blade Children Project to produce even more children of Yaiba.
Characters from the manga who fall under this category: None at this point.
Other Positions (Note: not available for use on the member's list! Just for information's sake)
Those with exceeding talent in everything they do. They are perfect in every way. Depending on how they use their power, they could be godlike or demon-like.
Characters from the manga who fall under this category: Yaiba Mizushiro and Kiyotaka Narumi.
One level below the Creators... or more like the second generation of the Creators. They have exceeding talent just like the Creators, and are almost identical in power. But they are still one level below the Creators. They are the younger brothers of Yaiba and Kiyotaka, Ayumu and Hizumi. Ayumu, one of the Gods, have the role of saving the Blade Children from their curse, but the other God who stands opposite of him, Hizumi, tries to interfere.
Characters from the manga who fall under this category: Hizumi Mizushiro and Ayumu Narumi.
The Blade Children
The Hunters
The Watchers
The Savers
The Innocents (basically, anyone who doesn't want to be in a category)
